Escambia Virtual School « Result #3 on Oct 28, 2009, 10:56am »
Some of you are having difficulty with your Escambia Virtual School classes/teachers. If you have been dropped out of your classes without oral communication from your teacher, please call Chris McFarland (School Choice coordinator) to be reinstated.
Some of the new teachers are inexperienced with the FLVS system and are not savvy to the time extension and re-Pacing concessions that some of your long-term FLVS teachers have done for you (especially those with learning disabilities). Please log into your classes every day and keep up with your lessons and assignments!

Dear CIAS parents & students:
Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year! We pray Psalm 37:5 is true for you as a homeschool parent: "Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass." If there is anything that we have learned over the last twelve years, it has been that when we commit to God's plan for our lives, He will "establish the work of our hands (Psalm 90:17). The going is not always easy, but the rewards are plentiful and blessed!
Tutoring began at the CIAS Campus School on August 17th. Our tutoring schedule is full at this time, but anyone wanting or needing tutoring lessons, please let us know so that we can put your student on the waiting list! We are still accepting "floater" students, those who bring their schoolwork and complete it at school with supervision but no tutoring.
The Student Handbooks are not ready yet...bear with us! Most of the forms that you need are now available on our updated website! Just download the forms from: www.christianinstitute.com
Our office hours during the school year are Monday and Wednesday, 9 to 5. Tutoring hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 to 5. I am normally in the office doing interviews on Friday mornings from 9-1 as well.
Reports and forms can be faxed to us at 458-5132 or dropped in the mail to: 2007 North 61st Ave. Pensacola, FL 32506
