Snow White Story Cottage Fall Hours
Port Orange, Florida Every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:00 AM
Children as young as 6 months to children in elementary school
will gather for a dramatic story telling time with Snow White at the
Snow White Cottage.
Children have the option to participate in Gem Stone mining at the Dwarfs
Mine Shaft or make a craft.
Fall hours beginning Wednesday, September 17, 2008 and continuing
every Wednesday and Saturday mornings at 10:00 am.
The cost is only $6.00 for both adult and child.
Pre-registration is required by calling 386-304-0778.
In a secluded niche of the Gamble property, a dense forest canopy
envelops a charming log-style cabin. Known as the Snow White Cottage,
it is a near replica of the forest dwelling featured in the 1937 Walt Disney
animated Classic, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Combine your experience at the Gamble Place with: Canoe and Kayak
Launch and Rentals, guided Eco-History Pontoon Boat Tours,
And enjoy lunch at Cracker Creek Café. Rent a golf cart and tour the Conservation
Nature Trails. Cracker Creek is located off I-95 exit 256 and go west
on Taylor Road (SR 421) approximately 1.5 mile. At the Historic Site
marker turn left down the 2-lane shell road.
