We are planning the 2007 Biology Dissection Labs again this year. If your student took Biology last year (we did not offer the lab last year), is taking Biology currently, or will start Biology during this school year, please sign up!
The Dissection labs are going to be on November 7-8 (W/TH) from 9 AM to 2 PM.
We do seven specimen dissections: earthworm, bullfrog, perch, clam, starfish, crayfish, and embryo pig. A month before the class, I mail out vocab study list for the students to learn. Then, I instruct the class and show video demonstrations. The students pair up and perform directed dissections, then complete each dissection with lab reports. The fee is $45 per student this year.
The kids always have a great time and learn so much! The class size is limited to 12-15 high school students each year. We open up our Biology dissections to the homeschool community, so let your friends know!

We are planning the 2008 Biology Dissection Labs this year. If your student has not had a Biology Dissection Lab and either... took Biology last year, is taking Biology currently, or will start Biology during this school year, sign up!
The Dissection labs are going to be on November 4-5 (T/W) from 9 AM to 2 PM. We do seven specimen dissections: earthworm, bullfrog, perch, clam, starfish, crayfish, and embryo pig. The fee is $45 per student.
A month before the class, I mail out information flyers and a vocab study list for the students to learn. During the Lab, I instruct the class and show video demonstrations. The students pair up and perform directed dissections on their own specimen set, then complete each dissection with lab reports. There will be a closing quiz over the material in the study sheet.
The kids always have a great time and learn so much! The class size is limited, and we do open up our Biology dissections to the homeschool community, so let your friends know!

Hello, 2015 Biology Lab students and parents!
Due to increased spring busyness at the CIAS office, I have not been able to complete the grade evaluations of the Biology Lab Manuals as I intended. Please be patient with us!
We will be mailing out the manuals to those who live out of tow and emailing everyone to pick them up as soon as I finish them.
Thanks for your patience!
Kind regards, Ms. Mary Beth Jones
