Hello, Class of 2012!
I want to make sure that you are aware of several things as we enter the last few months of this school year.
Many of you are dual enrolled at PSC; please make sure that you request that your official transcript be sent to CIAS upon completion of the spring semester (after your final grades are posted). If you need a request form, drop by the CIAS office, or we can fax you one (call and ask for it!).
Have you been completing Community Service? Make sure that your records get turned in!
We also need an Attendance Record for you as well! All forms are downloadable from the CIAS website.
A separate e-mail is going out regarding your testing requirements to end the school year. Be looking for that important info!
Call the CIAS office and schedule an appointment to plan your senior year classes as soon as you can. PSC opens its registration in April, so it is imperative that you register soon. My appointment schedule for May is filling up fast, and I have started making appointments in June already!
Are you excited?!? You should be! You have a great senior year ahead of you! :-)

It is now test crunch time! All juniors should register for at least one (1) ACT and/or SAT at this time. There are only a few test dates left, so register ASAP! Register to take them at Pensacola State College, but at this point, that testing site might be full, so be prepared to take it at another location. When registering, please use the CIAS CEEB code: 101-614 To register for the ACT: www.actstudent.orgTo register for the SAT: www.collegeboard.comTIPS! For the SAT- Leave unknown answers blank (Do NOT Guess!) Blank answers count as 0 credits. Wrong answers count AGAINST your score For the ACT- Fill in all answer blanks (GUESS!) Wrongs count as 0 credit- they do not count against your score Do you need an ACT or SAT tutor? Call Dr. Mike Bere at 377-3566 Tell him CIAS sent you. Since most Juniors are not required to take an IOWA or Stanford test, the ACT and/or SAT test is your required test for the year. The CPT does not count for this. If you have not passed your IOWA (at the 5th stanine or 50th percentile) for graduation next year, you were notified to register to take it in April.

Dear Class of 2012:
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Each year, we ask that the junior class help at the seniors' graduation. Your service frees the families of the seniors up so that they can enjoy the special day with their senior. Your time will come around next year, and you will appreciate all the help that you will receive in turn!
Your duties may include handing out graduation programs before the ceremony, setting up the food for the reception, running errands, and keeping the reception food and drink fountain replenished throughout the reception, Ms. Sarah is in charge of the organizing and staffing the reception, so she will be your boss.
Please meet her at the church at 5 pm on Friday, May 27. At Charity Chapel 5820 Montgomery Ave Pensacola, FL 32526
Pleaser make plans to attend and help.

Seniors, here are your Class Verse nominations; please vote for your choice by e-mail back to the school!
Jeremiah 29:11, NIV "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Ecclesiastes 3:11, NKJV "He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end."
Galatians 2:21, NKJV "I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain."
Hebrews 12:1-2, ESV "Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God."
Philippians 4:13, NKJV "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
1 Peter 2:16, NIV "Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God."
