The Valedictorian and Salutatorian candidates are the following students, in alphabetical order: Brittany Bondurant Kate Sherrill Camilla Tegnander The final candidacy will be announced in March. I am waiting for the first spring ACT and SAT scores to arrive before making a final decision. Congratulations, girls! Just so that you know, the Valedictorian prepares and gives a speech at graduation, and the Salutatorian gives a greeting and reads the class verse.

So ask your moms to search through the family albums and give us pics that are not too embarrassing for you! No, really, you can give us funny ones. It's a great time to show off!

The activity cords are tasseled cords that hang around your neck that you purchase and keep after graduation.
The CORD colors are the following:
Double: $9 each- white/forest green- PJC dual enrollment white/blue- UWF dual enrollment
Single: $4.50 each- gold- Honor Society membership citron- community service pink- music, band, orchestra white- art brown- drama, theater, acting forest green- athletics, sports maroon- home economics, 4-H crimson red- journalism, photography yellow- library science drab- business royal blue- student counsel purple- law, criminal justice, Teen Court, TeenPact
Order as many as you like!

The Valedictorian is Camilla Tegnander, ranked 1st of 18.
The Salutatorian is Kate Sherrill, ranked 2nd of 18.
Congratulations, girls! You have done magnificent work and are lovely young ladies! You most likely will be able to qualify for scholarships based on this status, so use it in college applications.

I need info from all the grads...what accomplishments have you achieved during high school? This could include: Honor society membership (many of you have been nominated since 10th grade) Clubs Awards & Trophies Achievements
Please e-mail me this ASAP! We need it for graduation and for the CIAS Grad website.
