FOR MOST JUNIORS Now that the PSAT’s are out of the way and the results are in, it is now time for you to take your first SAT and ACT, if you have not already done so during this school year. You only need to take one during your junior year. When registering, be sure to enter the CIAS high school number (CEEB) as 101614 so that we can receive your results!!! ACT w/writing: Register @ www.actstudent.orgJune 14, registration deadline May 9, 2008 SAT w/writing: Register for the REASONING TEST only Register @ www.collegeboard.comMay 3, late registration deadline April 10, 2008 June 7, registration deadline May 6, 2008 For both tests, register to take them at PJC as first choice, UWF as second choice, and your closest high school as third choice. Have your test scores sent to PJC, UWF and two other schools of your choice. I will be giving out test-taking tips at the April 22nd Junior Class Meeting. Mary Beth Jones High School Guidance

Class of 2009 to take the ACT or SAT
This list of students will most likely enter college after graduation, or earn college scholarships and need to have an ACT or SAT score on file before their senior year:

For all of you who are taking the June tests...
For the SAT- Leave unknown answers blank (Do NOT Guess!) Blank answers count as 0 credits. Wrong answers count AGAINST your score
For the ACT- Fill in all answer blanks (GUESS!) Wrongs count as 0 credit- they do not count against your score
