Dear CIAS parents & students: Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year! We pray Psalm 37:5 is true for you as a homeschool parent: "Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass." If there is anything that we have learned over the last twelve years, it has been that when we commit to God's plan for our lives, He will "establish the work of our hands (Psalm 90:17). The going is not always easy, but the rewards are plentiful and blessed! Tutoring began at the CIAS Campus School on August 17th. Our tutoring schedule is full at this time, but anyone wanting or needing tutoring lessons, please let us know so that we can put your student on the waiting list! We are still accepting "floater" students, those who bring their schoolwork and complete it at school with supervision but no tutoring. The Student Handbooks are not ready yet...bear with us! Most of the forms that you need are now available on our updated website! Just download the forms from: www.christianinstitute.comOur office hours during the school year are Monday and Wednesday, 9 to 5. Tutoring hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 to 5. I am normally in the office doing interviews on Friday mornings from 9-1 as well. Reports and forms can be faxed to us at 458-5132 or dropped in the mail to: 2007 North 61st Ave. Pensacola, FL 32506 Be blessed!

We hope that everyone had a blessed Christmas holiday with their family! This e-mail is regarding the CIAS Biology Dissection Lab scheduled for January. We apologize for any inconvenience that may have occurred from our reschedules; it has just been one of those kind of years!
Bio Lab date: January 28 & 29, 2010 Thurs/Fri 9 am to 2 pm (both days) Bring: 2 sharpened pencils and a sack lunch both days Be sure to study your Study Sheet prior to the lab (see attached) to prepare for the quiz on Friday.
I know that several of you may not be able to attend both days due to PJC class or work schedules. Just let me know your circumstances, and we can work together to complete your science lab requirement.
We have plenty of specimens on hand for your dissection; we're going to have a great time!
