The Jostens office representative told us last week that we would receive our invitation orders here at the school on Friday; they did not arrive.
I called their office this morning and was told that the orders were mailed out to each student, so they should be arriving at your house in the next several days (I could not get her to tell me when they were actually sent out). If they have not arrived at your house by Wednesday, please call their office at 1-800-354-3054 (be sure to portray a Christian witness!).
Also, the caps and gown are NOT going to arrive in time for you to include in your senior pics. Most of you have already had your senior pics taken, choosing eclectic locale casual portraits by friends of photographers. If you would like photographer references, please check CIAS's Facebook wall. As usual, we have made arrangements for the graduation photographer, Monica Cutler, to take the formal cap & gown portraits on the day of graduation (wearing cords/medals/stoles/etc.). Portrait packages and Cds will be made available for purchase.
I am sorry about all of this, even though it is not our fault. Jostens, a very reputable company, has uncharacteristically dropped the ball this year. Everything should turn out okay (it always does), and we should all remember that this is not eternal.

The Caps & Gowns arrived in two big ol' boxes this afternoon!
Come in to pick yours up. The school office will be open on Friday from 9 am to 2 pm only (due to PROM tomorrow night). Regular hours on Monday.
Over the next several weeks, you need to try it on and make sure that it does not need alterations. If it does need alterations, most dry cleaners offer alterations. Make sure to get it steamed (to get the wrinkles out) for graduation pictures!
The Activity Cords and Honors Stoles have not arrived yet.
