www.pensacolamesshall.org/116 N. Tarragona St. Downtown Pensacola, FL Math, Engineering, Science and Stuff — that’s what we do at the Pensacola MESS Hall. Inspired by the popularity of the Institute for Human and Machine Cognition’s Science Saturdays, the MESS Hall was founded in 2012 by Dr. Megan Pratt. After a successful summer trial run in a temporary location on Romana Street, the MESS Hall has relocated to a new home convenient to the Interstate off Tarragona Street. The MESS Hall is not a typical science museum. Rather than exhibits with planned outcomes, visitors get to work like real scientists, developing questions and creating experiments, engaging in complex reasoning and learning science just through tinkering. It’s all hands-on science.
