Dear CIAS parents:
Hurry on into to the school office soon and schedule your Curriculum Planning meeting for the new school year! Appointment slots are filling up fast as we approach the last weeks before school starts on August 16 at CIAS.
A few of you have not picked up your IOWA achievement test results or scheduled review meetings.
Tutoring slots are almost full as well, so if you would like enrollment at the Campus School for your students, you need to come by the office during the next several weeks (July) and let us know. After August 1st, we will have a waiting list.
We have been busy at the school office all summer. We welcome Sendi Odom aboard the CIAS administrative team as our new Records Clerk!!!
Our summer hours are: Tues-Thurs, 10-6 Fri, 10-2
Blessing to you all!

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD We are excited to participate in Samaritan Purse’s Operation Christmas Child this year! We are collecting items all this month, and will be hosting a “Packing Party” on Friday, October 22, from 3-5:30. A flyer is enclosed with this mailing with a list of items that can be purchased and donated. This is a great opportunity to reach out and get involved in a valid missions outreach, caring for our Father’s orphans and needy children. Plan to come!

2011 CALENDAR FUND RAISER The senior class is raising money to help cover the expenses of their graduation and reception by selling 2011 Scripture calendars. I know many of you LOVE these BEAUTIFUL scenic calendars with both KJV and NIV Scriptures. They are $10; support the senior class by buying one soon!

Well, it looks like the Handbooks have hit yet another delay at the printers...something about grainy print and staples. They tell us it will be Thursday before they are ready!
We'll send out an e-mail to keep you updated!

Just a reminder to participate in CIAS's Operation Christmas Child collection.
Some ideas: Drop off items early to donate for the Packing Party this Friday (10/22) from 3-5 pm. That way we can organize them beforehand!
Some students are combining efforts to buy items to fill boxes with their friends, while other families are buying items to fill one by themselves. If you cannot afford to donate the items to fill a shoebox, just give what you can! Others will give items that we can combine to complete a box.
A drop off container is at the school. A drop off container is at the school. We will continue to collect items until Oct 29.
Bless you all for blessing God's children!
