In order to homeschool in the state of Alabama, state laws states that homeschooling families must register with Albama-based schools. See HSLDA's website for details: hslda.org/laws/default.asp?State=AL Some of our families have chosen not to comply with this, since their students attend school at the CIAS Campus School, and CIAS is a private school in the state of Florida. But for those who are homeschooling in Alabama still need to register in an Alabama-based school. Here is a list of schools recommended by the Baldwin Christian Home Educators Association (BCHEA) www.bchea.org in the lower Alabama area: Magnolia Springs Wesleyan Church Bridge Christian Academy $100 per family, hands-off, turn in grades, meeting attendance is required www.mswchurch.com/bca.phpor www.BridgeChristianAcademy.comCentral Christian Robertsdale, AL $300 per family Forest Hill Christian School Mobile, AL Good Shepherd Academy Theodore, AL Holy Spirit Academy Montgomery, AL Catholic, but open to all denominations $35 yearly Praise Christian School Mobile, AL www.praisechristianschool.comNorthside Bible Academy Mobile, AL www.northsidebibleacademy.com
