AWKO Justice Scholarships

CIAS alumni, Rebecca Peppler, Class of 2011, recently let me know about a scholarship opportunity available at her job!

Aylstock, Witkin, Kreis & Overholtz, PLLC. gives out a limited number of $1,000 scholarships to local high school seniors every year. All students have to do is fill out the application and write a short essay on what the word "justice" means to them. The deadline to apply is May 1st! We are hosting a "Justice Jog" 5K to raise money for the scholarships as well, if any of your students are interested in running or volunteering.

I got the good news about the possibility of getting a scholarship at the university. To do this, you only need to have high marks. I'm not sure if this is possible, but I will try.
