NO TECHNOLOGY POLICY (CELL PHONES, TABLETS OR LAPTOPS)
No Campus School students will be allowed to have their cell phones or tablets during school hours between 9-3:30, and neither will laptops which are not being used for math, classes, class homework, or online classes be allowed. There are no exceptions to this rule, even for listening to music, due to excessive disobedience and abuse of the use of technology devises.
We want to encourage students to concentrate on schoolwork during school hours, as well as interact and socialize appropriately during the lunch hour, and not stay preoccupied with texting and social media on their technology devices. There will be a basket in the office to collect cell phones, and tablets and laptops will also be collected if offences occur. Disciplinary measures will apply to technology use offences, and parents/guardians will be notified by email.
This is a new rule for the 2015-2016 school year and will take effect in June 2015.

LOST AND FOUND POLICY
Lost and found items left at the CIAS Campus School are generally placed on the “Lost and Found shelf.” If it is an item of value, it will be placed in the school office. Students who have lost an item should check the Lost and Found shelf to see if their possessions have been found and placed there.
It is suggested that schoolbooks, coats, clothing, lunch boxes, and other items are labeled in the event that they are lost. Students should also “police” their schoolbooks and school supplies, to make sure that no one else takes them home accidentally.
Items not picked up in a reasonable amount of time will be thrown away or donated to a charitable organization. CIAS is not responsible for any items lost or stolen. Effective April 15, 2016.
