RE: Policy regarding transfer of CIAS or ANY HOMESCHOOL credits upon enrollment in ESCAMBIA COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS.
These policies are applicable only in Escambia and Seminole Counties in the state of Florida. We are fighting to have them revoked at the state government level through FCCPSA, our accreditation agency. These policies are foolish and biased, and should be exposed as such.
As of August 2002, our credits will not transfer at face-value.
For currently enrolled classes (transfering mid-year), the student must maintain a grade of "C" in the class in which he is enrolled.
For all other credits a student would like to validate, he must take a Passing Exam, administered by a certified teacher in the subject in which he wants credit.
NOTE: This policy does NOT affect the transfer of our credits to public schools and private schools in any other county or state in the United States OR any college or university in the United States.
